At present the band has close to 50 members ranging from college students to professionals in various fields. Even though we have had no formal training in music, we have progressed rapidly over the years through sheer hard work, reading music books and listening to bagpipe music.

The Sri Dasmesh Band owes its success and growth to its visionary and charismatic leader, Drum Major Sukdev Singh who has not only made the Sikhs proud by giving the Sikh Community our very own Band, but who has continuously motivated members to excel in every way. His dedication and vision for the Sikhs continue to inspire and touch the hearts of the people who come into contact with him.

The current leaders of the band are Pipe Major Paramjit Singh and Drum Major Ajeet Singh. They are assisted by the Senior Drum Majors Sukdev Singh and Charanpal Singh and also senior Pipe Major Arminder Singh.
